Samn thing was happening with the mag & memphis 1000d. Turned out that the input boards were loose in the amp. Find another amp in the house to see if that is your problem. It may be time to fix or replace it.

I'm already looking for a new one. Something small, cheap ... 50-60 x 2 @ 4ohm. Smaller footprint than the AKAI would be nice. Don't need any fancy crap, just power.

Then I'll blow up the AKAI. Little bit of gasoline, propane, boom. Or beat it with a baseball bat.

Or just put it aside in the basement like everything else I've always wanted to blow up but never really did.
