I have a sociology midterm in two days that counts for a quarter of the total grade in that class, and I know a tiny fraction of what I need for it.

This is going to be interesting...going to :poof: from here for a while.

I've studied the night before for all 3 midterms this quarter, but I admit they weren't that hard. It's so hard to study long in advance b/c by the time the test rolls around, I'll have forgetten what I studied a week ago.

Thought that was supposed to be how college worked

Its the cleanup, gets all over my garage.

I almost want to use a jig saw because it will make less mess

I pull my radial arm saw outside for working with MDF, either that or I need to spend 10 min with the leafblower in the garage afterwards. Outside FTW.

dragging my saw in the back yard is a pain by myself. It barely fits through the gate.

Cleanup is a breeze, all brick and concrete in my backyard.

Outside cleanup, ha?? The dust will blow away. I just pull mine through the garage door into the driveway and rip away. It ought to be fun today, I am building a mantle for my fireplace and have chosen to cover it in MDF first since it is such an easy surface to work with. Gonna bolt the MDF to the brick and then glue/brad the mantle up. Should really help hide the fasteners. Will post pics when I am done.

that's such an awkward feeling. you know how you have some friends where you're decent friends with but you're not sure if you should buy each other stuff for xmas. then you dont, and they give you something, so you gotta rush to the mall to buy them something lol. nice save, tomfoolery.

Guess what I'm currently unpacking?

AMPS! or an ipod...

jim said someone on here had experience with the RL-i 8s, but i don't remembe who he said, what it joo ryan? I'm wondering how the low end really is on them. Its just hard for me to fathom something that small getting really low

had all kinds of kinky gifts for shanna picked out, i give her a hint and she's not liking it at all. So she'll probably get enough 1/0 to wire a stratus.

that was me, i have a pair of the 8s

i think the low-end in my set-up is adequate (theyre sealed)

if i were to re-build it though, i would make my boxes slightly larger to try to get a bit more low end out of it

Anyone know USPS' max size/weight limit on packages off hand? Some gent in BC that's buying my amp wants me to send it via the postal service, but I don't know if they'll take a 40lb. box that's almost two feet across and wide.

It's strange, both the guy who bought my Decware Zen and this guy were in BC...you guys must have a lot of audiophiles lurking around up there...

I almost chit myself when I seen a red Mustang with winter tires and rims on the back and stock tires and wheels on the front. You're just asking to die during the winters here. Not to mention the rock chips and sand that gets everywhere. Makes almost as much sense as me putting slicks on and dropping the top on the IROC and taking it out in the snow or rain.

Seen a Solstice today too - didn't know people actually bought those, let alone drove them in the winters here

I know 40lbs is fine - ALL of my tower speakers/crossover parts/ports arrived via USPS. Was a rather large box too if you can remember the pictures.

Not that you would, but don't throw anything in there that shouldn't be / doesn't need to be. Packages that large will get opened at the border and taped up with six rolls of yellow customs tape (read: package extremely well, again ... you'd do that anyways so no worries)
