Elias, I think the 1st amp option would be fine.  But I dont know eough about the Merlins yet, but they seem pretty sweet, and if I can get a higher level of equipment for a good price I would go for it.  But if there is not too much of a difference between the Merlins (pre redesign?) and the Xterminators, I would go with the X's.  If they are not enough power or features then look towards the Merlins

The only reason im considering the merlins is because they are on sale.

And the sweet return investment when i decide to sell them.
