i went to get a reeses pb cup blizzard today. while i was about to pay i get a phone call that says my grandparents house is on fire. about this exact same time we hear the firetrucks leave the station, about three blocks away from dq.

so my wife and i tear outa dq. i proceed to run two stoplights and one stop sign (which means i only missed three stoplights from running all of them in town) and pass one cop in route to my gp's house.

what do i find??

my grandmother fixing a lamp in the kitchen unaware that there is a firetruck and several volunteer fireman suiting up in her front yard. lol...yep, no house fire whatsoever, and my grandmom so deaf that she didn't hear the firetruck pull up.

the culprit? she has a little box that is a speeddial thing for emergency numbers and the battery was low. so it sent off an automatic 911 call. funny thing is, the fire chief was putting a new battery in and it sent off another one.

my grandpa, who was gone for most of this pulls up and what does he say?? "how's that for an april's fool joke?" yeah...i never did get that damn blizzard.

yeah, was told to stay away from the razr's...teh new ones are losing their programming and are getting recalled.

those wheels are sharp...and i imagine if you look hard enough, you could find them bigger.... i think a 17 is plenty big...

yeah, right now im thinking 16x7 in the front and 16x8 in the rear, i think i would need to get narrowed control arms to fit a 8"er in the front
