I just went ahead and ordered 10ft of 12gauge from knu. Fitting 2 strands of 8gauge into a spring terminal is going to be impossible.

Also, the 8ga will fit fine

You just need to put it in both sides of the terminal( front and back). If you twist them together and put them in one side it wont fit.

I had 8ga on the brahmas.
