I painted part of my Carver yesterday....but then I flipped it over thinking it was dry enough...but it wasn't :mad:

Now I gotta sand and re-paint the once side

I might just throw mine in the oven and cook it for a while so the paint will dry.

Last time i didnt wait for the paint to fully dry and it cost me...big time.

Im not to shure how hot to set it at, gas ovens arent a steady heat

TO be honest. The DDs dont like to move very much or get as low as the MTs can. That said, the DDs are a much better Daily sub, they sound great on 1200rms each.

The MTs like as much power as you can give it. Out direct drop test was a failure due to the fact that one driver is broke in and the other isnt. This caused one to over play the other and cause phase/canellation issues.

We are glueing tonight...Ill get new numbers up.

No they dont. .35 on one amp played for a 4 hour trip...I could still put my hand on it...it couldnt have been over 100*F

That nothing...I have been known to beat on the DDs strapped at .35 which is .175 on each amp. They get warm, but not too hot to the touch.

.175 strapped... .0875 on each amp they get hot on tones but music they are just warm again.

Honestly, I have had many a HCCA orion. They were my fav amp until the 20.1 amps. The 20.1s arent current hoggs, still play without problems when voltage drops to 10v. Can be strapped so damn low it isnt funny...any other amp would chit themselves. All for ~$500

Not only would the amp chit themselves but I might sitting in the car.

The brakes are in bed now. Was really hard to get them hot enough to fade at all, but they had that blue/gray tint when finished! Took a good 10 really quick slow downs from 80 to 15 before the seemed to heat up. Afterwards I took a little drive and they are definetely as tight as the stock brakes, but since I get to log 330 miles tonight I will feel them out.
