I was under the impression that CA had a higher road tax than most states, along with the high emissions standards...maybe I'm wrong, I don't know.

I rolled by the downtown cops tonight with "Reflections of Earth" playing right under clipping...would have been hilarious if I'd have gotten pulled over for playing classical...

I'm sure my ticket was purely for quota, because i didn't have my license either and he didn't ticket me for that (honestly think he felt sorry for me, he was an exceptionally nice guy) Told me he was going to ticket me for the inspection, just told me to be sure to take the pink slip they give me to court with me and it would be thrown out.

funny actualy, he was a bicycle cop and had a small plastic pig head on the back of his bike....a cop...with a sense of humor

the storyis i was driving through downtown, he was off the bike talking to a guy...and hawkeye actually spotted my damn sticker, i felt like buying him coffee cause he wasn't even looking at traffic when i passed him, he rolled up beside me and scared the living chit out of me (i didn't see him in my mirror)

Honestly, i probably did get profiled, it was slow traffic so he probably heard the damn intake, i've been debating putting the stock airbox back on for that reason, plus the hiss is starting to get on my nerves again.

I need to update the radios in the van...I accidently cleared the memories a while back. I like having the BT dispatch frequency on one, and the town cops on the other. The bus channel is great for hearing where wrecks/traffic happen...and teh fuzz always tell everyone where they're at.

And none of it is that hard to receive, the only 800MHz trunked system around here is in Roanoke.

Cell phones are fun to listen to for about five minutes, until the novelty wears off - and then they're boring as hell. It's like the annoying people that talk too loudly sitting next to you, only they're on the other side of town annoying you.

If i didnt have such cool rides id put some radios in them.
