My Girl Friend had to write a 5 page Essay on any singer of her choice for her Exam grade for chorus. She chose Bob Marley (trying to impress me i geuss, lol) and i helped her write it. Im thinking about posting it. It is really a good quick read to understand why he sang about what he sang about and how his music came about.

Does it annoy me? yes when taken to an extreme. But you have to look at it as a dialect just like a southern accent (which you are obviously a sympathizer of) or a norther accent or a midwest accent or what ever. More than the rest is the southern accent which makes up its own slurr of words just like ebonics. But it can be carried to an extreme as well just like ebonics. There is ebonics, then there is "WTF did you jsut say you illiterate hung of fermenting garbage?" and then there is southern and there is "WTF did you just say you RV-as-a-permanent-home pile of burning red-neck white trash?"

I speak with a southern accent, so yeah.

Spanish, on the otherhand, is an entirely different language and other than its roots in europe and latin shows no similarities to english. Word order and phonetics are all completely different. Not even mentioning the dictionary. Speak it, fine, hispanics largely take over miami, fine, but im not speaking a word of it to order a hamburger in miami.

why not? double kicks were absolutely insane..and korn gets low as well....and the list goes on...slip knot, disturbed, avenge sevenfold..all have stellar drums..and the s18x did a pretty damn good job of reproducing them....

but dennis is correct..i HAD a s18x..it's been traded...and it's still in the same box doing the exact same thing...kicking ass.
