THe gt700 we saw at shelor is older, and would cost ten times as much to maintain. If the owner offered it to me for a hundred grand I would sell my house tomorrow

1. If it's been restored, won't need work for a while...

2. Ever notice how much it is to take a new vehicle into the shop? And you can't do most of the work yourself, there's too much computerization and plastic covers and properitary (sp) chit. At least with a straight six carb'ed engine I could learn how to do basically everything I need on a regular basis.

3. Metal is good. Metal means I'm probably going to come out better than whatever decided to run into me...

2. are parts common? if the engine hasn't been produced for a while you're looking at hassle to even find the parts
