if you are concerned with keeping the warranty, you can go with an easily removable program / chip...

-or-

get your ECU flashed and reprogrammed, better performance / custom tailored. Just buy another stock ECU to swap in if needed. But that can be a PITA.

Almost forgot, GM performance can flash it for you. Shouldnt void your warranty
