Friend of mine broke his arm last night, clean fracture and only one bone luckily.

People are stupid, he went into shock and some jakcalope came over and kept telling him to keep standing...RIIGGGHHHTT that is exactly what you do...anyway, people are stupid.

my dog has been in a kennel since I came up to Matt's and I miss her so much and even though the people are great there I feel terrible and I miss her happy face and snuggly-ness

I watched more semi-pro, college, etc hockey compared to NHL games this year.

You have the guys who genuinely love to play the game. Then you have the guys who genuinely love the money and perks of being a super star athlete that made it. Guys used to go out and do whatever it took just to be able to tell an awesome story in the change room. Top cheese, bag skating, a little tape-to-tape sauce action, puck drills, being able to add the letter "Y" to the end of everyone's last name (with the exception of mine, heh), end to enders, OT wins, living on the road ...

Used to be able to step on the ice and be absolutely free for the next couple hours. Not a care in the world, just you, your team, your coaches, and the puck. You know what you have to do, and you go balls out every second of the game to get it done.

Now, why?

It never used to be about the fucking money.

It never used to be about the girls.

It never used to be about the pride, the fame, the glory ...

The boys played because they fucking loved it.

What this Edmonton team and you see the love for the game.
