For the lows, you need excursion, for the highs, pratically none.

No 1mm x max sub will play 20hz and be loud. True x max, 2MM p2p

And that is assumeing Xmax = Xmag

The driver could play 20Hz and all of its displacement be non linear.

Last night we where in the girls car in gainsville. We where heading to the hospital, i was wearing her preppy girl glasses doing the ying yang twin "heaaaa" to everybody that had their window down (too much coffe and red bull)

Pull up next to two rice rockets at a stop light trying to race in traffic. A riced out Lancer (not even Evo) and a riced out v6 mustang. With Lil John "Real Nigga Role Call" bumping I hang out of the window and i do a straight Vin Diesle with the arms out and everything. Then i do a straight ludacris...

"Yo Yo YO! Who's ready for some Raccciiiiiiinnnn!"

Both give me a dirty look and the girl floors it in the bone stock '89 Camry all trac. We are both laughing our ass off.

Better be careful man , might get hurt or worse by some idjit. Or you might just get embarassed by one. Was out on the town couple years back. While sitting at a stoplight , i noticed these idjits in a riced out crx revving the motor up trying to get this old dude in a pos s-10 to race them for some odd reason. The old dude kept waving them off, he diddn't want to race . But they just kept on, and on. Guess old dude said fook it . When the light turned green he romped it . I swear to god the front tires of the s-10 were off the ground. And dude was gone. The guys in the crx pulled into the same gas station I did. Just after the light, and were greated by so much laughter. They got back in the car and left .

Embarassed? No...if they have the balls to beat the '89 camry then i will shake their hand because their balls must be larger than a squirls. The camry is slower than my truck...which is sad. If you go above 85 the whole car starts shakeing violently. When you reach about 70 the transmission gets confused as to which gear it is sapposed to be in.

if at 85 that car is shaking violently there is something severely wrong with it.

Oh and there is a turbo kit for the 4cyl S10 that make them put down over 250 to the ground with little tuning and 89 octane fule (if memory serves). Timing adjustment, more fule, more boost, and higher octane i'd imagine it would be able to step well into the 300's. 3" open exaust will add a few more ponies too. Intake manifold and heads...Alcohol injection wouldnt hurt either.

I'd imagine you could have a streetable S-10 sitting in the 400hp range with thoes measly little 4cyls...just dont run full boost too often .

Yeah, its a 17 year old econobox

But seriosuly that car has had more problems then an 85 year old paroplegic (SP). For the money she and her mom have put into fixing it they could have bought a much newer car in better condition.

but 36mpg, even with her foot, is nice.

Or you could just drop a highly modded supercharged 350 like he did . The mickey thompsons , and the tubbed out bed are a dead give away had they bothered to notice . The guy drags it every weekend locally. 400 hp is an understatement

yesterday was dink day on the lake, lots and lots of fish but only a few that measured. watching a 6" bass hit a full size zara spook is funny, then when they keep doing it, it becomes hilarious.
