What was it's et?

1/10 scale cars set to low to the ground to trip the timing gates they use there. That's why they were using the radar gun. It was a challenge for the worlds fastest rc car . Top speed was the only thing that mattered . But accelleration with one of those little bastages is on par with best performing street cars made. 0-60mph in 3 secs in pretty fooking fast :)

What was it's et?

Probably friggin' fast, those things wind up quick.

Ya damn skippy , back flips from a dead stop are a common site at rc dragraces . Gotta be gentle with that throttle finger :)

That didn't even look like an RC drag car....more like a track car.

It's actually a dirt car , which is kinda funny really. All the rail cars and funny cars got there butts handed to them by an off the shelf dirt car, with a brushless motor and lipo batteries :)

Hey you changed your percentages...

Yep , given the equipment going into the current install. And playing with other stuff . Had to back down on the equipment percentage :D:)

Batteries?  I assumed it was a Nitro beast, that is even more impressive.

Yes sir , 11.1 volt 8000mah lipos :)

I'd imagine you would get better perfomrance from a mid mounted engine and mass loading the front...untill you loose traction.

Though RC is nifty I'll stick with the real thing. :)

Weight is the devil on these things so mass loading is a no-no. Most of the track cars do put the engines in the middle though, for the dirt 2wd they don't bother though. Even with a 4wd car and a perfect weight balance there is enough power to weight to lift the front wheels...more weight on the front will just slow you down significantly.

Yeppers , power to weight ratio is ridiculous. :)

Fiberglass work is pucking expensive, then agian so is wasteing money on Miami Vice, eating at beefs, and wasteing gas going to a cowfeild with no cows.

I spent all the money I took out of the ATM last night to buy fiberglass stuff on last night. :(
