the Eclipse also feels just more solid (better built)

I agree, but soon I will be able to test them side by side.

The face definitely feels more robust on the Eclipse, but really either are fine.

I have a strict sleep schedule of 2-10 even though all the crap that I had to do this is done now THANK GOD so I'm basicallly just stuck here until I find something else to do or pass out from sleep deprivation

That is nearly 2x the sleep I get.

Sean or Aaron (or any one else), do you know of a website that lists properties for materials?

such as the Modulus of Elasticity, the Modulus of Rigidity, and Poisson's Ratio for 1018 Steel, 2024 Aluminum, and 6061-T6 Aluminum?

No, aren't they in your textbook? I think they are in the Ohanian Physics tome.

Sean, what volume on the HU did you set your gains at?

Well really none, but depending on what you want to do...

48 is a sweet spot, 54 is aggressive, and 58 is listenable

Thanks, just wondering about where clipping starts

only have 6061 in my book

in US customary units too if that's not too much to ask :P

You aren't studying in metric??? That is seriously shady and rather 1960 of Az if so.

some classes use SI, some use US, and some are a mix

I am shocked. I thought they stopped educating us in our own stupid system (other than teaching conversions) a while ago. Hell my high school didn't even use the stupide american system and I graduated a bit ago.

If you use a dmm set your mids around 55 and do the rest by ear.

most are SI, but there's still quite a bit of back in forth in some

only my FEA class is all US I think
