Thats really cool that you have the know-how to fix amps and such. How much are you selling these amps for after you fix them?

Depends on the price of the broken amp and the interest in them. Probably between $150 and $300 (absolute tops) profit. Only amps worth for this sort of thing are the ones over 2kw. If I find something very neat I may buy it for me.

I've seen a Lightning Audio 2000D go for almost $1000 (I think I can find the add, 2800ron was the asking price, check xe.com). I have one of those on my way too fing05.gif

Mind you, $300 is an interesting sum over here.

Also going to try importing some new caps since people over here obsess over them. I wanted a big cap for the new power supply and said wtf, I'm buying 2 6F caps. $200 shipped. Cheapest new 1F is $80 over here. As soon as they arrive, I'm posting them for sale...ebay is full of them.
