That would indeed be a ridiculous 6dB passive.

--as for mounting your crossovers, put them by the amp or under the dash where it is easy.

On the Stock Chevy there is a separate set of wires for the tweet, but i guess with installing my passive crossovers I'm just stuck with using only the midbass wire. correct me if I'm wrong

2nd thing, if I find the HU isn't putting power to the right midbass can I just use the power to the tweeter? I didn't know if it is provided less power, but thinking about it I guess it should get less power
