Had a half hour or so of flash-flood type rain this afternoon, so that kind of killed plans to cut the grass tomorrow...even with turf-ish tires I'll end up tearing things up if I went out there with the tractor...

I've never done anything audio-wise on a boat, only thing I've dealt with is radio gear - and a sailboat is a damn perfect place for a mobile HF radio setup Run the antenna up the mast, RF counterpoise along the mainstay, there's a nice enclosed cabin for the radio...but then again on anything ocean-going not having a reliable shortwave setup is really stupid...

Basic plan so far: 100 -> 150 -> 220 -> denatured alcohol and tack cloth -> poly -> 0000 steel wool -> poly -> 0000 steel wool -> poly

Using oil based clear satin polyurethane, should give just the right amount of luster
