Its the fuel injection that came on the early 80's corvettes.

crossfire injection was a chitty intake manifold injector design by GM.

could be lots of junk. you know that.

has the car been sitting a while? manifold crap. gasoline will turn injector pintles to glue after a long soak. timing.

check the timing (with a light), check the plug wires good, locate (google) the pulse voltage for the injectors and test with a dmm, ummmm, unscrew any fuel fitler to check for free flow, pull a couple of plugs, take the intake house off the manifold (assuming there is one as I havent seen that engine bay before) and peer into the mani with a flash light (look for rat's nests). prolly some other things. Oh, BTW, these tests can be done onsight so long as the sellar is agreeable.
