Audi's do bias the front a bit, but not in the S series cars where the use a rear bias. Either way when traction is an issue I don't find the bias that noticeable and they drift rather predictably. I have nothing but high marks for the cars, as long as you don't chose a turbo model, make sure the tranny is in order, and don't go off roading and whack the front ends way out of alignment.

  • Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he p

To be even more fair, I think my bias of FF comes from driving my sister's Corolla...although the Taurus was an absolute tank so dunno...my hands are always tired after driving the Corolla any appreciable distance, like I'd been working with post hole digger for a whole day...very "buzzy"

I am not interested in a FWD piece either and never will be, hell I won't even let my wife get one.

Good to see we're on the same page :mario:

*adds Audi A4 Quattro to the list*

next to the classic Caddy's I've always thought the first gen Audi A4's and the E46 3 series' were the sharpest looking luxury cars on the road...

i wish my car was RWD :(

only RWD vehicle my family owns is a frontier

I was considering putting the little Mercedes car on the list...C Class I think they're called?...but I've heard they've got "mechanical issues" or something

Oh and of course I'm talking used here, no way in hell am I buying new or something even remotely "new" when I'm talking about these luxury cars...hehe

Although I should look up the value for them, I could be selling myself short...

The C is a four door and yes they have terrible mech issues in the years you were citing for other "luxury cars". In general the past 10 years or so, Mercedes is by far the least reliable of the German brands.

especially in redneck-ville usa, good luck finding someone who knows how to fix it properly

I6 BM'ers are ultra easy to work on. Almost like they were engineered to be serviced. Getting parts for you might on the other hand be an overnight ordeal.

There is a TON you can buy for under 20:) You should go and drive a bunch of everything, that is more than half the fun anyways.

Reeeeeally? That's good to hear...scratch that...great to hear...sucks that there are so few RWD/AWD cars available. I don't mind driving a truck the least bit; if it comes down to some shit ass FWD compact/midsize or truck (and it might very well turn out that way) then the choice is obvious. I'd just rather have room for people...and stuff...

although I am still a firm believer in the front split bench seat damnit

*shakes fist*

Alrighty I'm turning in for the night, Happy St. Patty's day to you all. You can bet your ass I'll be drinkin tomorrow (I've been off the Vicodin for over ten days now, I'm almost positive its OK to drink now, although getting completely sloshed while still having a broken leg would not be :lol2: )
