If it were my boat, it would get all pro audio gear. I'd love to see the look on the faces of the guys that have $15k+ in their stereo's when a a single set of speakers outdoes what they have.

I still might make some sort of stereo for the Ranger, I have the amps and h/u just sitting in the basement but normally it isn't something I need on the boat.

I am afraid on my sis's boat that they will run out of battery, lose their settings, or generally just screw it up if it were active. Those RS components look nice enough to be run active on their own though. The crossovers actually have somewhat decent components in them though so it should be alright.

There were boats on the lake yesterday already moored up, the main lake is still frozen

If our dock were in, I would have gone crappie fishing this morning.
