Nick, is it ok to take a hose to the engine bay?

i know pressure washers are bad but is just a regular hose ok?

yes, so long as you take care. Like painting, take ALOT of time to wrap, secure, cover, etc... anything that shouldnt be drenched. I.e.-injectors, harness connections, and the like.

Then, take care in where you point the hose. Usually a slow flow with a good medium bristle brush will work out nicely.

eeek, i dunno what all i would need to cover

i've vacuumed it but in a couple spots there is just sludge looking crap that i want to get off

ANYTHING Electrical.

You could be haphazard with it... but that MIGHT lead to chasing down electrical gremlins later.

Just a couple of rolls of saran wrap and good tape will do yah.

wonder if i can put .wav & .mp3 on disc and have my 860 play it....?

You dont call it an electric engine do you ?

The Optispark. Don't get it wet. Your car will die. And not work for a while. And then you will be out like 500 bucks.
