Much of what was bothering me earlier is now finished.

Had to put together a data report ~70 worksheets for a customer to prove our tool does what he needs based on some testing we did and deliver it to Japan

Get haircut

Return tile

Buy boat oil

Mail back defective Squeezebox

UPS back defective PIM

Brainstorm a complex customer solution for a $2M deal

Place an order with a partner

Follow up on my sales teams plans for the next 2 months & review their forecasts

Request some inofmration on a few different technical matters from Germany (HQ)

Order a gasket for the viking grill and a new thermometer (or you know what instead )

Buy a microwave (haven't had one in 7 years or so)

Write some thank you's for baby gifts

Sell the Audi, The M, the truck, and my motorcycle -- regrettably all need a showfloor clean right now too

Buy a baby gift for a friend of mine

Buy a ticket to go redfishing in SC

Get a HELOC in case shit hits the fan

Download album art

get a new wireless router

change all the outlets in my house

Get the squeezebox working with CQC -- maybe tonight if I get energetic

WALKERSVILLE, Md. - A Frederick County high school girls softball coach has been fired for hosting an end-of-season cookout at his Walkersville home where beer was served to other parents.

It was a cookout around Brad Young's backyard swimming pool on June 11 celebrating the end of a winning season.

"And one parent brought some beers to the party. A couple of people had those-- probably no more than five or six," said Young. "No kid was uncomfortable. No kid had access to it. No kid drank. No parent got more than probably one or two beers. I did not drink."

But another parent called the Frederick County School Board, which tells FOX 5, "The incident in question took place at what is considered an official team function."

And so Brad Young was fired and banned from coaching for three years.

July 15 (Bloomberg) -- President Barack Obama “strongly opposes” an effort in Congress to require General Motors Corp. and Chrysler LLC to restore relationships shed during bankruptcy proceedings, while stopping short of a veto threat.

The administration said today in a statement that “the decision by Chrysler and GM to rationalize their dealer networks was a critical part of their overall restructuring to achieve long-term viability in order to save jobs in the long run.”

The statement also said it would set a “dangerous precedent” to “intervene into a closed judicial bankruptcy proceeding on behalf of one particular group at this point.”

The House of Representatives is slated to vote tomorrow on a bill that would require the automakers to restore their franchise agreements as a condition of receiving federal aid. The plan, opposed by both GM and Chrysler, comes amid complaints from lawmakers that the carmakers terminated dealerships with little notice or explanation.

GM plans to shutter about 2,400 dealerships, said spokesman Greg Martin, Chrysler officials have said 789 dealerships were targeted for closing.

While the bill is likely to pass the House, it received a chilly response from the Senate’s top Democrat. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada said yesterday that “when you have a bankruptcy, there are winners and losers.”

He also said “we’ll be happy to take a look at” the House proposal, “but it’s nothing that is certainly on top of the agenda in the Senate at this time.”

AN AMERICAN company has been forced to apologise after using a picture of murdered honeymooners Ben and Catherine Mullany in an online advertising campaign.

An image of the couple, who were shot dead in Antigua last summer, was used by the US firm MyDishBiz alongside in an area of its website featuring testimonials from satisfied customers.

The company last night apologised to the couple’s family, and said it had “not knowingly included the picture” on its site.
