something like that, only gas and more burners

Bluestar and Wolf have some very nice ones

IMO a sear burner is an accessory to a grill, not a repalcement. I wouldn't want one of those inside, but would love to have my actual grill in a covered porch.

They call it a grill, so I call it a grill. A grill for one or two perhaps but a grill nonetheless

Infrared charburner is what they call it and it is what it is. Good for getting a crust, but not so good for grilling. I have one as an accessory burner on my outdoor grill and love having it, but would hate only having it.

Oh no its not one of those infrared searing things; the one I'm talking about is an actual gas burner (or two, depending on the model) underneath the grill grate.

Not on the Wolf you mentioned. Perhaps the Blue Star although I haven't looked...amusing since I have a Bluestar Rangetop on order for my kitchen, but without the grill.

maybe some nice young girl will want a moustache ride!

Hmmmm, I thought the Wolf had one...guess not...

I was going to buy a Wolf too, had narrowed it down to that or the Bluestar, but I think it is rather hard to beat the Garland for the home. The grill in the Wolf didn't impress me.

The Jenn Air grill has those cheap burners from China in them, not hot enough for a grill without a cover IMO. Waste of space inside.

Never even heard of Garland :lol2:

<3 BlueStar though :lickscreen:

I love my dacor, but it's a PITA to clean, and I wish I would have gone with a full 6 burner blue star comercialish cook top.

Garland is a restaurant supply range company. In order to separate their commercial business when releasing a new residential line they came up with the name Bluestar. They have been spun off now, but their star burner design is a Garland design. ;)

I am now angry at you Sean as you will be having ribs on the smoker soon, and because your boss told you to sleep.

:sigh:

I are green.

I remember why when I just checked their web site.... my cook top is in the island, and the good ones all have a backsplash.

Rounding up all the receipts for the den/office clusterfuck, ought to be interesting :horse: :horse: :horse:

They make Island trim for the Blue star.

if I tear up anything else in the kitchen before getting some more of it finished, I think my wife would remove my huevos grande's and serve them to me broiled.
