  • Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he p

Hey, I'm looking for some tweeters to crossover at 4500 Hz w/ a 12db slope.

I asked this before but I forgot what was suggested. Looking for cheap and don't need to overpower my DLS R6A Woofers (I would say they are comparable to the MLI 6.5s) Original tweet was 8 ohm.

ATV setup so SQ not a big issue

??Maybe??

Way too spendy.

And these are better. :)http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=275-030

FWIW, I have Peerless silks (forget the model number) in my surrounds at home and I like them better than the Dayton Classics that I have up front in my LCR channels.

But then again I have not listened to either driver in question. I like Dayton products as well, don't get me wrong.

Different price bracket. The HDS tweet is probably my favorite "budget" tweeter, but in the range of price that Mike is looking at the ND is really a great buy.

The HDS is teh awesomeness. Those along with the ca18's and the soundcard are the best money I spent on my home stereo.

my cough SUCKED all night. Didn't take a Mucinex before bed as I thought the pseudoeph might make it hard to sleep. That was stupid. Benadryl ain't got shit on this cold.

Good cough med with codeine helps for sleeping

Fack, should have bought some when in Europe. Didn't even think about it.

Did you say you want something from Europe ? :P

True :(

I looked at the price of my other love

E46 M3's

are for pennies on the dollar. I saw some with low miles for ~20k.

Slap on some forced air...... Reliability and simplicity of the I6 and springs not air bags...

porsche won't drop though. The late 996 turbo's and early 997's are sill too much.

=)

That's a good thing.

let me correct myself Post 2004 so from 2005 and on the S charger issue was fixed*

Objective measures looking at passenger vehicles - such as J.D. Power surveys, demonstrated a downturn in reputation in this criteria in the late 1990s and early 2000s. By mid-2005, Mercedes temporarily returned to the industry average for initial quality, a measure of problems after the first 90 days of ownership, according to J.D. Power. In J.D. Power's Initial Quality Study for the first quarter of 2007, Mercedes showed dramatic improvement by climbing from 25th to 5th place, surpassing quality leader Toyota, and earning several awards for its models

it makes NO sense to me at all how the average price on the E63 is almost literally double the 2005+ E55.

Heck I could get the same results doing only 2006 I bet.

Have I ever mentioned how much I love working on Toyotas? Truly the easiest and simple cars to work on, even a 2008.

<-- feels like shit

I'm on my way home to take a nap and feel better myself.

Might go see ninja assassinss tonight though.

I heard it was terrible.

Any of those meds work out for ya Sean?

Kind of a late chime in, but I'll second the Mucinex and whiskey. A little booze will make almost anything go away. I wouldn't suggest it driving though :/

<-- will be in China, Japan, & Singapore in late Jan/Feb

I don't suppose you need a large body guard durring your tip do you? I could use a sabbatical.

Who would be the body guard in this situation, you or Sean? :D

FYI: trying to fit a framing hammer into a stocking is surprisingly difficult; probably just have to give it to him as an early Christmas present
