so i still havent gotten around to doing a new box for my bro's L7. but im thinking about trying something alittle different. he basicly only wants spl so im thinking about trying a wall... i have to build the box in the trunk anyways so might aswell try something new.

its a mercury sable by the way. im thinking 6 cubes net design from the manual or do a tuning around 34hz...?

we are prepared to deaden the rear deck, etc.

will there be more output from a wall in this car or would it be a waist of time? if we did the 6 without the wall there wont be much of a trunk left anyways... and im sure we can seal the trunk off from the rest of the car effectively.

i know its an L7 but can i get a comment on how affective a wall would be in a car?

In theory, the wall would be louder, but if not in competition, I don't think it is worth it.

alright thanks. still not sure what we're goin to do.... i wish he would just sell the l7. its tobig for that trunk...

I would wall off a brand new car if I could afford it - for the record. walls are fun, but for the die hard street beaters for sure if your not going to compete. Either way, it's just a sable, lol

WALL IT

its a 2000 POS! the trunk has a tiny and weird ass curved opening that make it hard to fit a 1.5 cube sealed box. its got the room for abig box but its gona be a pain in the ass. id like to wall it.

ill see what we can do. if it was any other car it would be so much easier....
