At the moment I am really thinking of running 2 12" BTLs. I know this may be a dumb question, but hey, I am new and gotta learn somehow....anyway, how do the 12" BTLs sound. I have heard some subs where the 12" would sound horrible (imo) but the 15 sounded great....both in the optimum setup and tuning. Just like some subs aren't really recommended for certain types of enclosures or applications....is it ok to use 2 12" BTLs for a daily driver or would it be more beneficial to use the BLs due to application types.

Let me guess, you listen to mostly rap/hip hop?

They'll sound fine for that...

pretty much....60% rap/hip hop, 20% classic rock, 20% heavy metal.

to audio, pretty much, right now pushin t1s....to customizing vehicles to the point of throwing tons of electrical upgrades into it, not so much new to the game.

....i might just get lazy and cheap in the end and go with the bls...i could do a lot of extra customizin with the money saved from the amps and extra electrical upgrades. i imagine 2 bls off of 3k would destroy the t1s....or t2s my boy is trying to pawn off on me.
