ok, a buddy of mine has 4 cheap memphis power reference 15's in a s10 blazer run off a mtx 1500 watt amp. Now, after hearing my bl 12", he either wants to go with 4 ssd 15's or 2 BL 18's. He is going to get 1 sundown 3000d. Both boxes would be ported and he has plenty of space, he took his back seat out already. I told him 2 BL 18's would be plenty. Which do you think would be better. He listens to mostly rap, some country and rock. He also has upgraded alt, and couple kinetik 2000's.

The 4 ssd15's would likely be louder...

The BL's would also do good as well.

i will let him know. If he waits couple weeks, i will order my ssd's and he can listen to that first. There is no telling what he will do. He may go in store and see some 15's for $100 each and buy 6 of them, he sees cheap and jumps on it. Trying to talk him into some fi's though
