Okay so, I'm ordering my BTL 18" friday and wondering if this is what I should go with, I'm going to be using a SAZ-3000 everything electrical wise is hefty due to my old system. This is what options I'm wondering if I should go with:

dual 1

induct heat ring

Give me some opinions.

If your using that Sundown 3000d Yous hud get Dual 2 ohm..

And so far to me everything looks good..

Why's that? Wouldn't I only be able to get 1600w out of the amp @ 2ohms? Is the 3000 over kill for the sub? If so I would go with the 1500.

lol no the btl can handle up to 5000W, a 3000D would be perfect for daily use

Nah..

3000 watts on that BTl it will hold up just dont be dum with the gains and set it up right..

Imma be running an SAZ-3000D with my BTL..

No, get the D2 ohm and wire it to 1 ohm. Stick with the SAZ 3000D

So, remove HiXim coil? And back to my question wouldn't I only get 1600w if the sub is a 2ohms?

Thanks man, I'm glad I have somewhere to come to for help, and I greatly appreciate every bit I get.

its fine man. were all here to help people out :)

Quick question to wire a 2ohm to 1 you connect one of the coils + to -? Thats how my solobarics where so, thats what I'm guessing?

Dual 1 subs can be wired in series for a 2ohm nominal load each, or in parallel for a .5 ohm nominal load each.

Dual 2 subs can be wired in series for a 4ohm nominal load each, or in parallel for a 1 ohm nominal load each.

You would present your 3000d with a 1/2 ( .5 ) ohm nominal load if you used a D1 sub in parallel ( at least 3000wrms but I don't recommend ). A D1 in series would present a 2ohm nominal load at the 3000d for 1600wrms rated power.

This is for one dvc sub only. Adding more subs together will be a whole nother set of numbers. Make shure you do your homework before spending money on the wrong one. Bottom line is, if you want to run one sub, at 1ohm, get the D2 and wire the coils in parallel + to + and - to -. If you want to run one sub at .5 ohm, get the D1 and wire it in parallel aswell. If you want to run one sub at 2ohm, get the D1 and wire it in series.

Like I said above, a saz-3000d at 2ohm= 1600wrms rated. Same amp at 1ohm= 3000wrms rated. You decide

So, remove HiXim coil?

If it is for daily music, keep the Hi Xmax coil. That gives you a fair increase in excursion which is great for playing music.

No problem bro..

Im still learning too..
