Im looking for a sub to replace a 10" IDQV2. I will be running it off a JL 500/1. I like the specs on the Fi SSD and the SSA Icon but dont really see a huge diff between the 2, other than getting the copper coil and BP Power (whatever that is..) on the SSD.

Can someone please tell me what BP Power is. I searched but didnt find a clear answer.

I am biased for the Icon ;) , but either driver is a great choice.

You wouldnt need BP power in your setup, so I wouldnt worry about it. Both subs are very capable and excellent choices

I was poking around and found that the Fi Q is avail in a 10!! So throw that sub in the mix as well as the JL audio W6. I have heard a 12" Icon and the W6 but none of the 10's. Whats cool is that they are all in the same price range. Guess i'll have to flip a coin... dont really wanna do that. :)

Between the Q, Icon, and w6, you can't really make a bad choice. So go with whatever YOU want!

All 3 are great subs! I have heard nothing but good things about the Icons...So I would say get the Icons.
