im planning on getting two btls, but am unshure whether or not to get it with the SPL or daily option. I may compete in the future, but unshure as of now, i just want something that hits really hard.

choose daily option. spl is STRICTLY for short bursts not music

SPL option has a very tight gap for controlled linear response at 1 note. If music is played, due to the nonlinear nature of this, the voice coil can crash.
