Posted November 6, 200816 yr Switched phones in mid build so, its not really a build log really..Loud as all get out, i mean it actually hurts my ears if i turn it up, now i just need to find another atomic amp and i'll be set.The ports.. 4 6x20inch pieces, my girls uncle works for the water company so wooohaThe box wt out the bracing and still being put together..The best and most dangerous saw i've ever used.The crap left from the pvc.Testin and tryin to get this big ass box into my car by myself, it easily ways, a good 250 or more.Then again I am somewhat of a beast, lol...after turning it up though the back panel came loose from the top, so i got some long screws and went diagonal from the to to the back, fixed it pretty nicely and haven't had any problems as of late.
November 7, 200816 yr Author it was the dust cap that came wt the recone, didn't get any stickers and was gonna paint MT on them in red, but it didn't work out so i just painted them all red to match the basket.

November 9, 200816 yr Author lol, really^^^do u know how big that trunk is?It's def not small for 15's, but for 18's it could be a lil bigger..btw they are 18's, lol, not 15's, it's about 10cubes-displacement.and nah i was lookin for a 5000.1 amp
November 9, 200816 yr Well still. The front baffle should at least be doubled up.. Is it built out of 1inch MDF or 1/2inch?
November 10, 200816 yr Author 3 quarter in wood.its a sturdy box, the pic is without bracing, and i've never used a double baffle, never needed to.It's amazing what u can do wt pieces of scrap wood these days.
November 10, 200816 yr im confused with the port direction...... its firing right into the truck lid... acctualy the way those trucks are the carpet goes into the trunk when it closes to its pretty much on top of the port.. how does it sound?
November 10, 200816 yr Author The box is not all the way up so it kinda bounces off the lid if u will, its alot of air moving through my rear deck.Dont think port direction is that big of a concern in a trunk though, im sure each direction has its perks, but not that big of a thing.Its loud no doubt...yes louder than u, lol... i need to put my ea alt back in the car though, i put it in the gator which is still sittin , wt no title, so ima either buy another alt or take it back out, my batts are gettin worked along wt the alt, lolI'll try to get some video b4 it gets too cold out.
