i want some new door speakers and am thinking about some components but i look at the price of some and say why am i paying that much for nothing..

someone pleez explain this

better sound seperation, better staging, more controlled mid bass, crisper highs, more power handeling (in some cases)

doesnt seem like its worth it to me.

I feel it is worth it,, it depends on how much you care about SQ

not much, i want to hear the words but my inside speakers are doing that well now, a little to well, the treble can kill passengers at high volumes.

if you can find some decent components for a good price I think its worth a try, a while ago SD had a good deal on Crystal Comps but not sure whats going on now

i saw some blaupaunk component s for cheap on ikesound, i'm gettin side tracked agian on what i really want again, but i feel i need all of this stuff.

if the treble is too much as is, you prolly wouldnt want tweets. Honestly, since the first time I tried a set of components, I was sold. Particularly with a decent mid bass backing them up. You wouldnt believe how much music you're missing without a decent dedicated mid.

I tell people this all the time, yet they never end up implementing them well. Everyone wants perfect response just by dropping them in a door. They don't realize they may actually have to put some effort into it.

But yeah, Once I did my first install with components correctly, I couldn't believe I was actually listening to the same material. Picked up on a lot of missed stuff.

yea, i'll get some cheap ones and see how i like them, i already have door speakers i'll just replae and add an amp, hehehehe
