Will i get louder with 1 15" BTL fully loaded in a ported box on the same 3000 watt sundown amp recommended to me,

or the 2 12" BLs on a 3000 watt amp in a ported box? everything is the same, the goals and everything, but i am just curious on this one....please let me know...also can anyone recommend me some nice component speakers with tweeters....i like polk audio, but idk if there is anything better please let me know thanks

if the boxes for both are ideal the 12's should be louder. doubt it will be noticeable anywhere but the mic though.

im pretty sure 2 12's will be louder unless you dont have the right enclosure for them, than in that case you could go with a 15 which would be loud also but not louder than 2 12's

and also polk audio have good components. you could also try cadence components in the ssa shop^

I'm going with a Mechman 250amp alt. $499 shipped for my 97 Maxima. Give them a call or email them to see what they have for your car.

The 3000D is a serious amplifier, and if you were to go with it and upgrade the electrical system to support it, I would suggest a pair of BL's.

Mechman Alternators

He does not have all vehicles listed, just shoot Matt an Email, he will get back to you quickly. If he has one for a 97 Maxima, I bet he has one for a Lexus also. His email is [email protected]

1-888-MECHMAN is the phone number as well. I have not called them yet, but I may do so to inquire about dual alts for my car. Not sure if I want to go that far though :)
