How much room does he have? Is it a trunk?

  • Author

oh no lots and lots of room... its a minivan thats why i figured a 15 would move more air and be louder beacuse its a bigger vehicle

I would think that the BL should be much louder with lower power (2.5kWish and below), while the BTL will excel with high power levels. If anyone has more experience, please correct me.

Been over that many times. BTL is louder - even on 100 watts. . .

Problem here is comparing a 12" to a 15". With 1200 watts, if he has the room to build the correct enclosure for the 15", my guess for daily music will be to go with the 15" BL.

Edit: Never mind.

would the 15 bl be a better choice over a 15 l7

Im assuming this mini van doesnt have any electrical upgrades, and if he gets a btl he will want more power one day to really push the sub. I say go with the BL just so there is no temptation in the future to get a new amp then need more electrical backup, plus IMO the BL would be louder, but I dont have personal experience... and yes the BL is better, there may be a Hz or two that the l7 may hit louder, but all around BL>>>L7

what you are saying, get the fi q 15'' fully loaded with the 1200 watt amp in a 3.75 cubic ft box tuned to around 32-34.

would the 15 bl be a better choice over a 15 l7

well hell ye... :suicide-santa:

The Q is also a great choice I have the "stock" 15" with 1500 watts and love it...

psh...kicker?
