So i am about about to add another BL to the trunk the both will be dual 2's, daily, P Chamfer, and univeral features.. Im looking at sundown audio for my amp. Which model should i go with? any reccomendations, sundown or any other brands?

sundown 3k @ 2ohms... should make those BL's slam. you could run it at .5 but with no experience with the bl idk how much power handling is actually added with the chamber and what not.

pick up a sae1000d for each one or the new 1200's ...or u could run the saz3000d at .5..watch the gains and have a good electrical to back it

What amp do you have now? Can you add a second one?

If you want sundown, do a pair of SAZ1500D's.

2) I want to strap my amp at the lowest possible load, what is it? - 3/13/07

Quite frankly I recommend to run the amps at 1 ohm each and 2 ohms strapped. One hundred percent of any problems people see with protection and overheating result from loads under 1 ohm per amplifier... I have yet to hear a single compaint at 1 ohm operation. The lowest officially supported strapped load is 2 ohms. Running at a load of under 1 ohm un-strapped or 2 ohms strapped (1 ohm per amp) will void your warranty coverage.

As of March 31st, 2007 the SAZ-1500D will not carry 0.5 ohm warranty coverage. All amplifiers sold BEFORE that date are still covered by the 0.5 ohm warranty as described in THIS thread.

FI BL's are only rated at 1,000 watts rms...so adding a lil more power shouldnt harm it...hope this helps

EDIT: i would go with a rockford fosgate T1000bd...they always over rated more than 1,000+ rms...

2 saz 1500d's would be a perfect match... plenty of head room and enough power to make those bl's come alive at 2 ohms.

Yes they are rated at 1K RMS, but they handle upwards of 1.5K daily. Just like the BTL, fully loaded it will take 6K.

what are you talking about....

18) Daily is not a term that you are allowed to use to describe your system. Daily Jeezy and Daily Mingus have way too varied of a meaning for this to be a worthwhile term. Describe what you want instead.
