Hi i just installed a hifonics bxi 2608 im running it at 2 ohm at 1700 watts. my box is tuned to 34 hz @3.5 cubes. my bl is over extending itslef so i turned down the gain. My question is what should i have the low pass filter set at right now i got it at around 75 i think thats too high. it kind of sounds messy. and if i turn it down could i put the gain a little higher?

Where is your SSF set.

and I wouldn't put any more then 1500 watts to a bl.

Like 18hz my friend has a us amp 2000x hes putting 2000+ rms and it handles just fine

SSF should be higher, more like 30hz.

That depends on the front stage and where it sounds the best.

so your saying my subsonic level is the onlything wrong?

just play with it a little bit, try setting it to 35 at first, if you like the way it sounds keep it, if you dont keep going up
