Posted December 7, 200816 yr My name is Vince from Waycross and im a Bassaholic."lol".I was directed to this site from the nice people over at SMD.I have quite a few questions i would like some help with.First let me give you some info about me,cause it may help you to help me.Im 36 years old and have been out of the stereo seen since i was in my early 20s.Two kids and a wife helped that.Back in the day i ran 2 12" Cerwin Vega.My amps always changed cause i would trade with my boys.To get to the point,i was planning to get back into booming again. My plan was 2 Kicker 15l7s and a Kicker 2500.1.My ride is a 1996 Chevy 1500 4x4 ext cab.Im taking out the back seat so room should not be to much of an issue.I have not heard them in person but seen alot of youtube vids. They seem to pound pretty good with the right power.I never heard of Fi until i seen the Steave Mead ride.Alot of people said to go with FI.Okay, were did Fi come from? Are there subs that great?Whats fully loaded mean? Are they really expensive? How do i pick the right sub for what i want to do?I want 2 15s.How much power do i need? What size box?If anybody can help out at all would be great.Im tyring to get box plans or help finding a site to do research.I dont understand all the tech stuff on the FI sub site. Thanks in advance.
December 7, 200816 yr welcome! and the answer to your question is yes fi is amazing..lol. I have owned many kicker products and they are very capable of getting loud but do come with a hafty price tag..fi in my opinion is VERY cheap for the quality you get. I own a btl 18 right now and I love it! box specs depend on what you want to do as far as sound and space go.
