Posted December 7, 200816 yr i have a rockford fosgate t30001db a 200 amp alt. a yellow top in front and a kinetiks hc2400 battery in back ive been buyin piece by piece now its time for the subs i want to buy sum fi's but dont know wich ones... is this amp not good enough for 2 15" BTL's fully loaded?? if not what would yall suggest?? thanks for the support
December 8, 200816 yr Another question is how much space are you willing to give up. The BTL 15" wants a pretty large box, moreso with two of them.
December 8, 200816 yr Author i jus want it to b really loud here in lexington nc no one is really into car audio so i jus wanna b the loudest in town for sure and i got a 88 s10 2 door blazer so im goin to use the whole back of the suv so space aint really an issue but is the fosgate amp enough for the 2 15" BTL??? or get sum other speakers??
December 8, 200816 yr it should be fine the rockfords are under-rated i doubt they will see rated rms each but they will get loud off 1600watts or so. you could use a diffrent sub rated closer to the power like loaded bl's or nightshades or dc lvl4xl's. the btl's can handle 3kw+ daily so i you ever want to upgrade your amp they would take it.
