Well i've got my friend hooked on Fi. He wants to build a setup with my help.

He is looking at a 12" or 15" Fi BL

Powering it with a Directed 1100d, old model. He listens to mainly rap, and it will be placed in a Grand Am.

What options should he look into with this amp power. I told him to just get it fully loaded if he ever plans to upgrade someday. Just need some opinion.

His main concern is what size to go with, what is your opinion, I personally went with the 15, and love it.

Well if he listens to mostly rap go with the 15, or the 18 if you can somehow fit it.

For the 15 I'm guessing 4.0^ft3 tuned to 30-32hz.

Uh options, the "stock" BL would be fine on 1100rms but its always nice to have it fully loaded just in case.

And in the future he could get rid of that amp and slap a saz-1500 on there if he wanted a little more power.

Size has nothing to do with what type of music he listens too btw.

Just find out how much space he has and go from there for what size to purchase.

Yeah, perhaps 2 12s?

it is a low budget setup, so 2 12"s is out of the question already.
