I wouldn't go with a hifonics amp. I have heard to many bad things about them but thats just my opinion.

if you don't have any experience then don't comment.

only thing i have seen with an fi q and a brutus amp is that the highs SUCK

and for the record, i have a btl i havent hookoed it up yet but will it kill the highs and the lows beacuse that q scared me

Everything you said is enclosure dependent.

Cant go wrong starting with an SSD or Q

are you serious?

well the encloure is about 8 cubes with the prot tuned to 32 hertz and i mean higsh like at the beging to put on

Once you hear those monster low's you wont even care about high's.

Like Jason said thats what midbass is for.

I hate high 40hz and above notes.

You listen to bass testers all day?

I beleive "bass testers" arent the only music that has low bass.

rob's right though. once you have those low notes just blast right through you, you don't give a $hit about any other note

yeah but songs have more than just lows in them

All the systems youve most likely heard lack low's.

What im saying with your btl. your going to go crazy on how loud they are.

yeah but i dont want to make cd's based on if the song sounds good or not i want to make them beacuse i like the song and everything will sound good on my system

Well then if you were looking for more of an SQ type of install you shouldnt have chose the btl.

i think i like lows enough to get over it i just cant wait to fricken POUND

Whats keeping you from doing that?

Ahh. well lets give this guy his thread back.
