Need a solid amp, roughly 4-5000w, around $1000 to power 2 18" BTLs. Ideas? What electrical am I going to need? Can I get away with 1 HO alt and a few batteries?

id look into an atomic 5000.1 can be had around that price or you could get a pair of saz3000d and strap them get them from db-r.com cost about 1300. as far as electrical a good ho alt and solid battery bank should be fine just get good batterys 80+ah ratings d3100's or similar.

Lanzar Opti6000D can be found new for around $1000.

Almost same internals as the Soundstream XXX10000. some claim better results with the Opti6000D
