Have factory 6x9 in the rear of my 200 LeSabre. The thing is that I going to put a full Treo system and they dont make a 6x9; so go with the TS 6.5 like the door or add a TSI 8 sub?

you could build a plate for the 6.5 or find a shop that might have one pre-made,

but the rear-mid bass idea with the 8's is a cool idea, just need a good crossover for them

side note, can I ask why you are stuck on an all Treo system?

The reason that Im going with an all Treo system I like their good clean sound. The second reason is there are only a few other people where I live running Treo.

This is a more of a JL audio, Kicker, Pioneer, Memphis, Alpine part of Texas.

I know Treo makes great stuff for sure, just wonder why you want an all Treo system, you can mix it up a little if you want to

You answer your own question and I listen to five different system before I pick this setup. The only thre things that are not Treo is the head (Premier770) amps (F21&F29)

and wire (Hooker).

Denim I did not mean to coming off as a smart a$$. The question is how much does a Power Bass System run for in the part of the contry you live at? The reason is the local dealer sales his Power Bass products at a fair price.

see thats the thing, there are no PB dealers near me,

the more I look at the new PRs the more I want to try them

(oh and I know you wre not being a smart ass, I am an easy going guy dont worry, takes a lot to piss me off, but good to have you here, and I would like to hear some recent Treo reviews, and you are the man to do it :D )

Another reason to not go with all of the same company in all the places is simply not every product is the est in that segment of the market, sure a sub companycould make components but they might not sound as good as a company that makes just components. Same for amps/HU/X-Covers/EQ's, its always best to shop around and fine things that sound good with a good price point.

what I am curious about is some Treo Amp POV's, I know the subs are very good, but I dont know much more than that about them

  • Admin
Well, Thor's review in Momentum on that Treo amp was disappointing.

My vote, no rear speakers.  Me no like rear fill.

haha was thor typing for you on that post?

  • Admin
No he wasn't.  Why?  Did I semi-quote him?

I thought you were making a subliminal pun
