What would a 15" BTL compare to a 15" MOFO?

rate a 15" mofo, 15"alpinetypeR, and a 15" BTL on a number scale from 1 - 20

all with THEIR best ported box

how are we rating these subs? Sound quality? Low end? Spl? Ill rank them based on how much I want one...

I have personal experience with this, buddy of mine has a mofo and it doesn't sound near as good or loud as my bl, doesnt even get close.

this is as clear of an example as you can get for the old saying

"YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR"

so if i had the 2 15" alpine type r's sealed before...

what are they gonna compare to a FI BTL 15" in one of those badass ported enclosures designed by thumpper?

hmmm,what kind of vehicle? If you can fit 2 15s I imagine one 18 would fit.

The mofo's are heavily built for looks...the voicecoils overheat very easily, even when applied properly, they do not hold the power they are rated for..id say at least a 50% increase of B.S. The excursion.....is not there, the durability is not there, and the service is not there.......

i can do 18" deep, 34" wide, and 16" tall for the enclosure

i vote 1 15" Btl. you will see a dramatic difference in the right ported enclosure.
