ok i have an older model mj 18 and was wondering what kind of bass response i would get if i ported it in like 3-4 cubes??

That is a bit on the small side for ported.

3cf is a bit small to get any useable increase in bass, even 4cf is on the small side.

From what I remember, 4cf @ ~32hz will work though.

Make sure you have enough port area too (at least a 5" diameter port)

yeah i figured ti would be but its all i got to work with. i was goin to use my 6 aero i got laying around for it

but would i cause damage to it in anyway if i did do it that small ported??

4.5 cubes tuned to 30-32Hz.

6" port will be fine.

ok cool, i have dont no real calculations yet but i think i might be able to squeeze that out of my trunk, cause i plan on using my trunk and spare tire well to hopefully pull it off and should have pic of the build of the box up too. so ill post them up when i start
