i want blue tooth/ipod/changeable backround pic, the ipod is most important and SQ. what i have is in sig. i have good stuff and want the best deck for SQ. they both have the options i want. i think the p980 has a better screen and i think the ipod on the x991 is better. no one around me has this on display so I'm buying blind.

Unless you plan on running your front speakers active.... you don't need half the processing power the 980BT can give you.

the price is the same once i buy everything, the 980 has a mic that sets up your system, is that any good or is tuning still needed?

i might go 3 way with front stage tweets, everything will have a cross over. but not for at least a year maybe longer

i dont mind have more then i need, i care about the SQ and tuning and it plays nice with my ipod.

Do you know if that screen is at nice at it looks in the pics? it makes it look like it is bright as hell with a TON of detail.

Ugh. Kenwood. I Usually Try To Run Eclipse HU's. I Had A Kenwood Before. Overheated And Died After 19 Days Of Normal Use. And It Was Supposedly "Good".

I don't see too many people choosing Kenwood recently.

I've owned 3 Kenwoods and loved them all.

I'd bet $10000 your definition and mine of SQ are VERY, VERY different.
