It was windy as hell last night, despite the fact that the power was out, it snowed pretty heavily...it was all loose snow over icy roads, so you can imagine how fun it was to drive around.

Its 9:27 now and the sun wont be up until 1 or 2 in the afternoon, just to set at 4pm.

whoah, thats weird.... and is it like night dark for the rest of the time? what do you do....?

We get used to it haha. But in the summer, the sun will always be out 24/7 for a week or so in June. Opposite of right now.

Its more of a dark blue brightness, It wont be completely dark till about 4:30. I should take a pic right now.

i met one of my mothers friends thursday. she came down to illinois to visit. she is living in anchorage right now, and she said there for a little while it was colder in illinois than it was up there
