It was off. I think there is something wrong with the amp i received.

I tried hooking another amp to my sub and it worked and i tried hooked different subs up to the 1000D and it still didn't work so im sending it back to jacob.

Nah, the box wasn't messed up. A wire could have been knocked loose though inside or something.

I'd be hesitant to send the amp back when you still have not pin pointed the problem. The may not be outputting anything because there may be nothing inputting. If you LOC is bad, then your amp won't have any input. Check the outputs on the LOC and see if they are outputting anything.

I saw once come into the store this past week. The kid fried the fudge out of it. Send the amp back if or when you are sure it is the amp.

I checked the amp with a multimeter today and there is power going into the amp but no power coming out.

Why would this be?

I hooked different subs up to the amp and they didnt work and then i hooked a different amp up to the sub and it worked.....

You swapped amps then?

I was thinking you tried your sub in a completely different car. Doh

Open her up and take a gander ;)

When you say there is power going into the amp are you talking about the positive and negative terminals or the rcas?

I'm 99% sure it was 12V he checked. Not RCA's.

I checked both.

I don't see why one amp would work with the same rcas and LOC and then the sundown not work though.

I also looked inside of the amp and everything seemed ok.

If you swapped amps and everything worked, then it has to be the amp. Like I said i was under the impression that you put your sub in a different vehicle to see if the sub was bad.

UH OH! Please tell me Sundown amps are ok with memphis rca's.. that would suck!! Sorry to O.P. for the slight thread jacking.

I tried my new knukonceptz rca and also my scosche rcas which are very similar to what jacob said he uses, (which are also scosche).

Still not working?

Have you sent it in yet

Double check your ground, my 100.4 was picky about its ground.

Already dropped it off at the UPS store on wedesday, still only says billing info shipped. I wonder why.

It will say billing info until it scanned in @ the first terminal location and sorted for the first time. After that will be able to track it
