Posted January 1, 200916 yr http://www.raammat.net/how much difference does it make just deadening the trunk, both on the inside and out.im pretty sure that i dont need 63sqft to do my trunk, how much do i need?
January 1, 200916 yr It makes a noticeable difference to deaden the trunk, but you should to everything. You are going to pound the hell out of your car with your BTL and it will sound like poo with all the vibrations. Get her done.

January 2, 200916 yr rammat was the "best value" deadener with second skin being "the best" deadener in a deadener test that floating somewhere around the net...ill look for it...not that it has anything to with with this....u will notice a great difference if u deaden ur trunk....buy a roll(the price isnt bad)...if u have any extra then double layer it..
January 2, 200916 yr I used a whole roll of raam on my reg cab ranger's floor, doors, and back of cab. I know it's a pain in the butt to take your seats and carpeting out but it will make a huge difference in the amount of road noise you'll hear.
January 2, 200916 yr u will definitely need a roll for your trunkand make sure u do ur trunk lid or it will rattle like crazy!"sounds like a midget is trying to get out of my trunk" FAIL!
January 2, 200916 yr im not going to take the seats out.... or take apart the whole car....lol, no point in deadening anything at all then if you're going to be that lazy.Either do it right, or don't even do it.

January 5, 200916 yr Definitely deaden your trunk. Doors are a good idea too. Put some deadening on the middle of the top of the place that's between your factory 6x9's too.
January 5, 200916 yr I've used Raamat in my Cadillac, and it seems to work well for the price. If you are going to do deadening, I would recommend doing as much as you can, pulling seats out, carpet up, trim off, etc, etc. You will thank yourself in the long run. Its easier to do it once right than have to do it two or three times.
