I'm going to have a gp3000 maybe 2 down the road. the subs are going to be used for everyday use, demo at car shows, and bass race.

so far I'm thinking

one ia dp21

6 gp 10's

6 audioque 2.5 10's

4 audioque hd3 10's

or 6 ia li 10's

I can do about 9-10 cubes net and its going to be tuned to 35.

the subs are going in a half wall in the back seat of a sunfire. the amps will be placed infrount of the subs.

This is very install dependent. The 21 has a large cone advantage.

Most of the manufacturers list it along with all the specs.

Measure the radius of the actual cone, add a third of the width of the surround and the area is pi*r*r (r=previously calculated radius)

The formula is pi*r^2 In this case that would be 10.5*10.5*3.14=346.185 sqin of cone, not 1500sqin by a long shot.

I ment around 1500 for the 21

the 10s will be 2077.11

the 21 would be 1451.465

6 tens will have about 600 more plus more vcs for the heat but the 21 will be easy plus the wow factor. I don't know what to do.

its radius not diameter radius of the 21 is 10.5 the radius of a 10 is 5. the 21 is 346sqin the 10's are 471 the diffrence is 125sqin thats 36% more cone area. thats just about a 1db diffrence theoretically

I get it now I still didn't recover from new years or work yet haha.

from the looks of it one sub will be better for ease of install and wow factor
