no point in building a wall behide the second row of seats

not from an spl standpoint but if it's just for show...

Personally I wouldn't wall it unless I had to for the room... and in the case of 4-18's he better use the wall..

You get a lot more room when you take all the plastic and chit ya dont need ive done a couple of creations but never a ported wall . Do you think it would hit harder laying down and fireing up port to the back

re-measure.... in the 96(I believe it's pretty much identical to the 98) it's 42" from fenderwell to fenderwell.... I couldn't imagine that the 98 is 18" wider... above the wells you may have 60 but......

I don't know all the measurements because:

A.) I don't have a 4dr and

B.) I only care about width and seat height for regular street class building

You're going to be doing a little more than building a regular rectangular box to make the woofers and port fit..

Good luck with your build either way.. walls are a whole lot of work..

he can get a total of 50.5" fender to fender.... but thats a VERY tight fit

Is the 98 that different from the 96.... or are the 4drs just wider.. I couldn't imagine them being that much bigger.. across the floor with my expo gutted it's just under 43" fender to fender...

hell my suburban is only 49ish fender to fender...

**my 96 is the only expo that I've messed with... and I've only had it a few weeks..

well that was a given...

I know you like to be difficult, but this is just ignorant. You have never built a ported box and you are about to run 4 BTL's... You can do things difficult, but I mean it just sounds like you are going to use a lot of time, money, and effort just to get something that might or might not turn out how you want it...

I'd recommend you TEMPORARILY use one sub, then move up...
